King Charles and Sir Elton John were among the attendees at a music workshop organized by Apple and the King's Trust Creative Labs. The event aimed to provide industry skills to young people interested in careers within the music and creative sectors.

Young performer Skye Newman presented her work to a panel that included King Charles, Sir Elton John, his husband David Furnish, and Apple's executive chairman Tim Cook. This collaboration highlights the evolving demands for work skills, particularly the integration of modern technology for aspiring professionals in the creative industries.

This is not the first instance of a royal connection with Apple. Last year, King Charles released a playlist of 17 of his favorite songs through Apple Music. Sir Elton John has a long-standing relationship with the King's Trust charity, formerly known as the Prince's Trust, which is celebrating its 50th year. The charity was established to support disadvantaged and marginalized young individuals, having assisted 1.3 million people across the UK to date.

The event also touched upon a historical connection to Battersea Power Station, which once supplied electricity to Buckingham Palace. In the power station's control room, this link was discreetly marked as "Carnaby Street."
