Kimmel Mocks Trump's Rally Remarks About Nicki Minaj
The late-night host expressed discomfort with Trump's comments and demeanor during a rally appearance.
Jimmy Kimmel remarked that President Donald Trump has "failed on every count" as the United States approaches its midterm elections. Kimmel specifically criticized Trump's comments at a recent rally in Michigan, where the president invited rapper Nicki Minaj onto the stage.
During the rally, Trump reportedly complimented Minaj's appearance, stating she had "one hell of a beautiful ass," before making a fist-pumping gesture. Kimmel, while attempting to mimic Trump's facial expression and gesture, expressed his distaste for the moment, calling it "horny Donald" and stating that he was "grossing myself out even doing it."
Kimmel also speculated on how a hypothetical similar comment from Joe Biden would be received by Fox News, suggesting it would elicit a strong reaction from the network's hosts.
The commentary came during Kimmel's Monday night monologue, which included a clip of the rally appearance. The segment touched upon Trump's ongoing campaign rallies and his administration's performance leading up to the elections.
