Kimberly Guilfoyle's Stylist 'Fancy James' Faces Fallout Amid Downfall
The flamboyant stylist, known for his elaborate fashion choices alongside Kimberly Guilfoyle, is reportedly in Greece as his business and reputation appear to be unraveling.
James Cesar, known to clients and acquaintances as 'Fancy James,' a stylist who worked extensively with Kimberly Guilfoyle, is reportedly seeking refuge in Greece amidst the fallout from Guilfoyle's career trajectory. Fancy James became known for his flamboyant persona and distinctive fashion, often accompanying Guilfoyle to events. He was with her when she hosted her first event as U.S. ambassador to Greece, a U.S. Marine Corps Ball in Athens on November 1, 2025, where he sported a feathered cloak and a white Balenciaga bag.
Fancy James, who was born Jems Cesar in Haiti, first met Guilfoyle through South Florida's social scene. He cultivated a reputation as a confidante to his clients and was known for dressing Guilfoyle in what he described as 'dazzly,' 'bling-bling,' and 'drag-type' pieces. He styled Guilfoyle for events and was seen receiving dry cleaning deliveries and luxury bags at her residence amid investigations. He openly embraced his role, hard-launching himself as Guilfoyle's stylist on social media on November 6, 2025, captioning a photo of her, 'Our US Ambassador @kimberlyguilfoyle looks gracefully chic in this stunning shade of green.'
He had ambitions of expanding his brand, including plans for a second store, Fancy James Boutique Athens. However, records indicate that the premises for this venture in the Greek capital remain vacant. Fancy James also spent time partying in Mykonos with Guilfoyle during June and July, alongside reality television personalities. He had previously been granted access through White House security in late February.
Friends and former clients have expressed disbelief at the turn of events for Fancy James, who immigrated from Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake. Described by a source as 'one of the nicest people' and 'hardest-working,' his ambition and self-created persona contributed to his rise in the fashion world. His boutique in Boca Raton, Florida, displayed the flamboyant style that became his trademark.
