Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece, has resurfaced on social media platform X with her first post since July, coinciding with recent reports detailing allegations of her attempting to have a Donald Trump donor pay off a $100,000 debt. The post, however, did not address the controversy.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Guilfoyle allegedly sought to have the donor cover the debt prior to her Senate confirmation hearing in 2025. This claim has led to significant criticism.

Instead of responding to the allegations, Guilfoyle shared a post about a speech delivered by Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Greece. Rubio, speaking from the Acropolis, urged European leaders to unite with the U.S. in defending Western values. Guilfoyle echoed this sentiment in her post, stating, "Our history, culture and civilization must be protected."

Guilfoyle is not the only figure associated with the Trump administration to face questions regarding the allegations while attempting to deflect. Vice President JD Vance addressed the situation on Thursday, claiming initial unawareness of the story. He later admitted to not liking the "hypothetical" scenario presented.

Guilfoyle's return to social media marks a notable moment given the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the financial allegations and her role as a political appointee.
