Kimberly Guilfoyle Reportedly Bragged About Tycoons Funding Luxury Lifestyle

Leaked audio recordings appear to capture U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle bragging about two Greek tycoons financing her lavish lifestyle, including private jet trips and luxury hotel stays, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. The revelations have prompted calls for her dismissal as officials reportedly weigh consequences.

In the audio, reportedly from a January conversation in Davos, Guilfoyle, 57, is heard discussing her relationship with Greek shipping tycoon Nikolas Tsakos. She claimed Tsakos funded her travel and accommodations, including stays at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris and holidays in the Swiss resort of Gstaad. "I see Nikos every f***ing day," Guilfoyle allegedly said, adding, "He loves me. Honey, I spent Christmas with him. New Years. OK? Gstaad. Like, everywhere."

Guilfoyle also allegedly mentioned Alexandros Exarchou, CEO of the Greek construction company Aktor Group, referring to him as "my people." She reportedly claimed to have flown to Davos on a private jet with Exarchou. Previously, Guilfoyle had allegedly used her influence to encourage European governments to pursue business with Exarchou and purchase American natural gas from his company.

The ambassador was also reportedly heard promising a U.S. businessman significant financial gains in exchange for help securing an invitation to an exclusive dinner for Eric Trump. "I'm going to make you a lot of f***ing money," she was quoted as saying.

Officials within the Trump administration are reportedly considering whether to remove Guilfoyle from her ambassadorial post. This comes amid separate allegations that Guilfoyle had previously asked a Trump donor to cover $100,000 of her American Express bill in exchange for assistance with tax and legal issues. Guilfoyle's lawyer has denied the occurrence of that alleged exchange.

Vice President JD Vance commented on the allegations, stating that "if there was something bad that happened, then people have to suffer consequences." Former President Donald Trump also acknowledged the reports, telling reporters, "It's too bad. She was always very nice."

A spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy in Athens defended Guilfoyle, asserting that she has adhered to State Department ethics and gift reporting guidelines. The spokesperson characterized the allegations as "unsubstantiated claims" that detract from her work in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean.
