Kim Zolciak has been seen publicly for the first time since her 15-year-old son, Kroy Biermann Jr. (KJ), was arrested in connection with alleged sexual assault stemming from an April incident.

Zolciak, 48, was observed driving a black Range Rover in Alpharetta, Georgia, on Saturday. This sighting occurred less than a week after Kroy Jr. was taken into custody. On the same day Zolciak was seen, her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann Sr., was also spotted locally retrieving his son's football jersey.

Kroy Jr. was arrested on Monday in Alpharetta, facing accusations of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. According to juvenile court documents, the alleged victim stated that the incident occurred in a family changing room at a gym. The accuser claims Kroy Jr. suggested they use a co-ed sauna, and while walking through the changing room, he allegedly touched her, forced her to perform oral sex, and attempted to engage in sexual intercourse.

Zolciak has publicly denied the allegations, calling them "reckless and deeply troubling" in a statement to the Daily Mail. She asserted that her son "categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged." Zolciak added that Kroy Jr. voluntarily took and passed a polygraph examination related to the accusations, and that an examination found no DNA belonging to her son.

"We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations," Zolciak's statement read.

Kroy Jr.'s attorney, Jason Sheffield, also stated that his client is "100% innocent" and presented evidence, including the polygraph results, to the arresting officer. Sheffield described the arrest and his client being held without bond as a "tragedy" and expressed confidence in demonstrating the "mean spirited nature of these false allegations" to the district attorney's office.

Police began investigating the alleged incident after an officer was dispatched to North Fulton Hospital on April 24, 2026, for a reported sexual assault. The alleged victim and her father claimed the incident occurred the previous day at a nearby gym. A report from the hospital examination indicated no evidence of male DNA was found in the alleged victim's mouth or vagina.

Kroy Jr. is being held without bond at the Juvenile Court of Fulton County, with a hearing scheduled for September 1. Police first attempted to contact Kroy Sr. on May 14, and he reportedly stated he would discuss the matter with Zolciak.

Zolciak and Biermann, a former NFL player, share four minor children: Kroy Jr., Kash (14), and twins Kane and Kaia (12). Biermann also adopted Zolciak's two older daughters from previous relationships, Brielle (29) and Ariana (24). The couple, who married in 2011, separated in 2023. In March, Biermann filed for full custody of their minor children, accusing Zolciak of "blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities." Zolciak denied these accusations, stating they were a deliberate attempt to defame her character. In June, a judge granted Biermann primary physical custody of the four minor children, finding Zolciak "unstable and unfit," while Zolciak and Biermann will continue to share joint legal custody.
