Kroy Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of reality television personality Kim Zolciak, has been indicted on multiple charges related to an alleged sexual assault. His legal team is petitioning a judge to release him from jail on bond, arguing he is not a flight risk and highlighting his strong academic and athletic record.
According to court documents filed by his attorneys, Biermann Jr. is a student in good standing with demonstrated academic achievement and has received scholarships for his athletic abilities. The defense also notes that he has not fled the state since learning of the charges in April and has voluntarily submitted to polygraph testing.
The attorneys have requested that the proceedings remain confidential due to the ages of Biermann Jr. and the alleged victim, as well as the public interest stemming from Zolciak's fame.
Zolciak has publicly denied the allegations, stating that her son categorically denies any involvement with the accuser or the alleged conduct. She further claimed that Biermann Jr. passed a polygraph examination and that no DNA evidence belonging to her son was found in relation to the allegations. She expressed confidence that the facts will establish the truth and asked for the legal process to unfold without premature judgment.
The alleged incident occurred on April 23, 2026, according to court papers filed in Fulton County, Georgia. The accuser stated that she encountered Biermann Jr. at a gym and that the alleged assault took place in a family changing room. She claimed Biermann Jr. touched her inappropriately, ignored her protests, and attempted to engage in sexual intercourse.
Police were dispatched to North Fulton Hospital on April 24, 2026, following a report of a sexual assault. The alleged victim and her father told authorities the incident happened the previous day at a nearby gym. Medical examination at the hospital reportedly found no evidence of male DNA in her mouth or vagina.
Biermann Jr. is currently being held without bond in the Juvenile Court of Fulton County. His attorney has maintained his client's innocence, stating that evidence supporting his client's claims was presented to the arresting officer and that the arrest and detention are tragic.
In June, Zolciak celebrated her son's 15th birthday on social media, expressing pride in his accomplishments and character. She shared photos of him growing up and highlighted his dedication to football, calling him an inspiration and her "heart walking outside of my body."
