Kim Zolciak celebrated her son Kroy “KJ” Jr.’s 15th birthday with an emotional Instagram post two months prior to his arrest on sexual assault charges. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum shared a collection of photos of her son in May, describing him as “the most incredible son.”
“I had no idea what was missing from my life until you arrived,” Zolciak, 47, captioned the social media post. “You changed me in ways I could never fully describe. ❤️ You taught me strength, compassion, patience, and what the mother-son bond truly means.”
She referred to KJ as her “heart walking outside of [her] body” and stated, “Every day you amaze me. You give the biggest, best hugs, and I am so proud of the young man you have become. Your work ethic, dedication, discipline, and drive especially when it comes to football 🏈 are truly admirable.”
Zolciak added, “Watching you pursue your goals with such determination inspires me. No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby, my greatest blessing, and one of my proudest accomplishments. I am grateful every day that I get to be your mom.”
