Kim Zolciak-Biermann's Turbulent Life Unravels Amid Bitter Divorce and Son's Allegations
Insiders reveal new details of the reality star's 'turbulent' world as her marriage to Kroy Biermann faces a bitter divorce and their son faces sex abuse allegations.
Reality television personality Kim Zolciak-Biermann's life has reportedly unraveled into a "train wreck" amid a contentious divorce from former NFL player Kroy Biermann and serious allegations involving their son, KJ. Insiders suggest that those close to Zolciak are not surprised by the current "turbulent" state of her life, viewing her reality TV dreams as having transformed into a real-life nightmare.
Fifteen years after rising to fame on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak's life is described as a "big mess." A year after marrying Biermann, Zolciak was considered half of Bravo's "It" couple.
The divorce proceedings have reportedly been contentious. Zolciak temporarily lost physical custody of the children twice, once in April and again in May, according to temporary orders filed by the judge. The judge ruled her to be "unstable and unfit" during those periods.
Adding to the family's turmoil, their teenage son KJ was indicted by a Georgia grand jury on seven felony charges. The charges stem from an alleged incident at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, on April 23. If convicted, KJ could face a 25-year prison sentence without the possibility of parole. However, the teen and his family have denied the allegations.
Zolciak's two adult children from a previous relationship, Brielle and Ariana, are reportedly estranged from Biermann, their adopted father.
Those who know Zolciak best express little surprise at the current situation, suggesting that her trajectory was foreseeable.
