Kim Kardashian Wears Schiaparelli Gown with Trompe L'oeil Details to 'All's Fair' Premiere
The reality star sported a sculpted silicone bodice with faux nipples and layered fringe for the event in Mexico City.
Kim Kardashian made a striking appearance at the "All's Fair" Season 2 premiere in Mexico City, donning a custom Schiaparelli gown that featured a trompe l'oeil design. The sculpted silicone bodice of the ivory gown included molded faux nipples, a detail that plays into a recurring theme in Kardashian's fashion choices and her Skims brand.
The dress, styled by Law Roach, showcased layers of glossy fringe below the waist, revealing glimpses of sheer polka-dotted mesh underneath. Kardashian complemented the avant-garde gown with matching platform sandals and subtle hoop earrings, opting for a minimalist approach to accessories.
The Schiaparelli creation is from the house's fall 2026 couture collection, designed by Daniel Roseberry. Roseberry developed the unique skin-like silicone material with the assistance of a workshop near Paris known for crafting realistic prop babies for film productions. This artistic choice emphasizes Schiaparelli's signature surrealist aesthetic.
This is not the first time Kardashian has explored anatomical illusions in her fashion. In 2023, she launched Skims' "Ultimate Nipple Bra," a padded push-up bra designed to create the appearance of nipples. She later revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that the bra was molded from her own chest.
Schiaparelli's anatomical designs have also been seen on other notable figures. Kylie Jenner wore a Schiaparelli gown to the Met Gala in May that featured a corset with faux nipples. Bella Hadid and Zendaya have also showcased Schiaparelli pieces incorporating sculpted bodices and unique detailing in recent months.
At the premiere, Kardashian, who plays divorce attorney Allura Grant in the Ryan Murphy drama, was asked about the definition of success. "Success is so subjective," she told reporters. "I think happiness is success — no matter what that looks like to you. It’s not the job or the money or the cars or the clothes, it’s pure happiness."
Recently, Kardashian attended the "All's Fair" premiere in Rome wearing a 1986 Saint Laurent couture leopard print dress and later a Galia Lahav bridal gown with hip cutouts for a photocall. Season 2 of "All's Fair" is set to premiere on Hulu on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
