Kim Kardashian Reveals She Employs Five Nannies for Her Four Children

Kim Kardashian has revealed that she employs five nannies to care for her four children with ex-husband Kanye West. In an interview with The Times of London, Kardashian explained that one nanny is on duty at a time, with the other four working on a rotation.

Kardashian, who is the primary guardian to North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven, also shared her concerns about her children's increasing public presence. North, in particular, has been growing her profile in the music industry and as a TikTok star.

'I do worry about it. Each kid does what they’re comfortable with,' Kardashian said, referring to her children's involvement in their reality show, 'The Kardashians.' She noted that her younger children appear during filming but do not have storylines, while North is more engaged.

'North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back,' Kardashian admitted. 'All she wants to do is forward-facing projects. And so it’s like us really kind of trying to savor those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way.'

Regarding North's burgeoning music career, Kardashian stated that she and West communicate to ensure they are aligned on the projects their daughter pursues. 'And with her, since it’s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about. We make sure that we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve,' she said.

This level of parental alignment is particularly relevant given past disagreements between Kardashian and West over North's public activities. Last year, West included his daughter's vocals on a song alongside Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who was facing trial for sexual misconduct allegations at the time. Combs was later acquitted of the most serious charges but found guilty on two lesser charges.

Kardashian's parenting choices have also drawn public scrutiny. In August 2025, North revealed she had a dermal piercing on her hand, leading to criticism of her mother allowing such a procedure at a young age. North later responded to the criticism via TikTok and subsequently unveiled additional piercings. She has also appeared in music videos for her solo single '#N0rth4evr' and a collaboration with Lil Wayne's son, Lil Novi.
