Kim Kardashian Recounts Spying on O.J. Simpson as a Teenager
The reality star and aspiring lawyer shared anecdotes about her father's famous client during a Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance.
Kim Kardashian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, recounting a teenage experience of searching through O.J. Simpson's belongings.
Kardashian, who is pursuing a career in law, shared that she was inspired by the media coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial, during which her father, Robert Kardashian, served as a defense attorney. She described the surreal experience of witnessing the trial on television and then having direct exposure to the legal proceedings at home.
During her appearance, Kardashian confessed that at age 14, she took the initiative to investigate Simpson herself. When Simpson was staying at her family's home, she recalled seeing his Louis Vuitton luggage and, driven by curiosity, decided to go through it. "I just was so into it, and I saw everything from behind the scenes," she told Kimmel.
Her brief investigation took a turn when she later saw a news report detailing investigators' plans to seize Simpson's luggage. Kardashian admitted to panicking, worrying about leaving fingerprints on the bags. "I'm like, 'Oh my God, my fingerprints are all over it!'" she recounted.
Kardashian arrived for the taping in Hollywood dressed in a sleeveless black plunging dress with a hoop skirt. The ensemble emphasized her figure and was paired with black open-toe heels. Her long, dark hair was styled with a middle part.
