Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner paid tribute to their late matriarch, Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell, on what would have been her 92nd birthday. Both reality television personalities took to Instagram on Sunday to share memories and express their love for Campbell, who passed away the previous week.

Jenner, a talent manager, announced her mother's death on July 17. "Happy Heavenly Birthday Mommy. I love you," Jenner wrote in her tribute, a week after sharing her heartbreak over the loss. She described her mother as the heart of their family, crediting her with teaching them the importance of fierce family love, kindness, and showing up for loved ones. "She taught us that family is everything," Jenner stated, adding that her mother taught her unconditional love and how to find joy in small moments and face challenges with resilience and faith.

Kardashian, 45, also memorialized her grandmother with a collection of old photos. "Happy Heavenly 92nd Birthday grandma! It’s only been a week, but wow, the amount of things I’ve learned about you this week from going through all of your stuff with mom has been beautiful!" she wrote. Kardashian reflected on how much more she has come to respect and love her grandmother, noting, "I thought I knew it all! Makes me respect you and love you more if that’s even possible. Today we celebrate you! I miss you like crazy and I love you endlessly my sweet grandma MJ."

Kardashian previously called Campbell her "forever twin" and "best friend" in a post following her death. She highlighted Campbell's influence as a hardworking businesswoman, recalling that her grandmother gave her her first job at her store in San Diego and imparted lessons on work ethic, strength, and confidence. Kardashian also stated that Campbell always believed in her and was her safe place, calling her the matriarch of the family.

Campbell was a familiar face to fans of the family's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, making frequent appearances. Last year, the family celebrated MJ's 91st birthday with a dinner at The Ivy in Los Angeles.
