Kim Kardashian contributed $50,000 to support families at the U.S.-Mexico border during an event in Los Angeles on Saturday. The donation was made to the non-profit organization This Is About Humanity, which aids separated and reunited families with essentials, legal services, and mental wellness support.

This Is About Humanity was co-founded by Kardashian's friend Zoe Winkler Reinis, whose father, actor Henry Winkler, was also in attendance. The organization focuses on raising awareness for families and children affected at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The annual event honored actor Wilmer Valderrama with a Humanitarian Award for his years of support. Valderrama spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of community support, stating, "When a family is separated, when a kid is sitting in a shelter, when someone needs a meal, a lawyer or someone to talk to, I think it's pretty simple. People need people."

Kardashian attended the daytime event in Los Angeles wearing a cream, cropped cardigan. Her appearance at the fundraiser follows a recent trip with her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton.

For the event, she wore a cream, cropped cardigan with several buttons purposefully undone to expose one of her shoulders and just a hint of her sheer, strapless bra
