Kim Kardashian Awarded One Euro in 2016 Paris Robbery Case, Enjoys Date Night

Kim Kardashian was awarded one euro in compensation by a Paris court on Tuesday for the traumatic armed robbery she experienced in the French capital in 2016. The reality star, who was in Paris with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton for a date night, received the symbolic amount, which she had requested.

Kardashian and her stylist, Simone Harouche, were present during the 2016 incident at the Hôtel de Pourtalès. Robbers, disguised as police officers, tied Kardashian up, bound her with tape, and stole approximately $10 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million engagement ring that has never been recovered. Kardashian has described the event as the most terrifying experience of her life.

In a joint statement, Kardashian and Harouche expressed gratitude to the French justice system, stating, "Today's decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition. We are thankful to the Court and everyone who supported us throughout this process, and we hope to now move forward and continue to heal."

The court also awarded 109,516 euros to a former receptionist at the hotel, who also claimed to be traumatized by the event, and 50,000 euros to the hotel itself. While eight individuals were found guilty for their roles in the robbery last year, none returned to prison due to time already served. None of the convicted individuals appealed the verdict.

Kardashian's legal team stated, "She looks forward to putting this tragic episode behind her, as she continues working to improve the criminal justice system on behalf of victims, the innocent, and the incarcerated seeking to redeem themselves."

Earlier on Tuesday, Kardashian and Hamilton were seen dining at the popular Parisian restaurant Ferdi. Kardashian wore a figure-hugging black dress with a plunging neckline, while Hamilton opted for a casual ensemble. The couple was first linked in February and made their relationship Instagram official in June. Hamilton has since become a regular presence in Kardashian's life and her family's.

Hamilton's outing followed a crash during the final practice session of the Madrid Grand Prix on Saturday, where he went off track and collided with barriers. Despite the incident, the couple appeared to be enjoying their night out in the City of Light.
