Kim Kardashian Awarded 1 Euro Compensation for Paris Robbery; Spends Night with Lewis Hamilton

Kim Kardashian received one euro in compensation from a Paris court on Tuesday, eight years after she was the victim of an armed robbery in the French capital. On the same day, she and her boyfriend, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, were seen enjoying a date night in Paris.

The reality television star was awarded the symbolic sum by a Paris court for the 2016 incident, during which she lost approximately $10 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million engagement ring that has never been recovered. Kardashian has described the robbery as the "most terrifying experience of my life."

Kardashian and her stylist, Simone Harouche, who was present during the robbery, issued a joint statement expressing gratitude to the French justice system. "Today´s decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition," the statement read. "We are thankful to the Court and everyone who supported us throughout this process, and we hope to now move forward and continue to heal."

A former receptionist at the Hôtel de Pourtalès, where the robbery occurred, was awarded 109,516 euros ($126,472). The hotel itself received 50,000 euros ($57,741).

In October 2016, two robbers disguised as police officers forced their way into Kardashian's hotel suite. They bound her with zip ties and tape, leaving her fearing for her life. Six of the eight individuals found guilty in connection with the robbery were in their 60s and 70s at the time of their trial, leading them to be known in France as "les papys braqueurs," or the grandpa robbers.

Following the court's decision, Kardashian's legal team stated that she appreciates the court's decision and thanks the French authorities for their respectful treatment throughout the process. "She looks forward to putting this tragic episode behind her, as she continues working to improve the criminal justice system on behalf of victims, the innocent, and the incarcerated seeking to redeem themselves," her team added.

Later on Tuesday, Kardashian and Hamilton were seen dining at the popular Parisian restaurant Ferdi. Kardashian, 45, wore a form-fitting black dress with a plunging neckline, while Hamilton, 41, opted for a more casual ensemble. The couple, first linked in February and made Instagram official in June, have been increasingly public with their relationship, with Hamilton becoming a regular presence in Kardashian's family life.

Hamilton's outing came after a challenging weekend where he crashed his race car during the final practice session of the Madrid Grand Prix on Saturday. Despite the incident, he and Kardashian appeared to be enjoying their evening in the City of Light.
