Kiehl's Introduces Scented Versions of Iconic Creme de Corps Body Butter

Kiehl's has released its first-ever scented iterations of its renowned Creme de Corps body butter, marking a significant expansion for the beloved skincare line. The original, a staple since the early 1970s, has now been introduced in three distinct fragrances designed to enhance mood.

The new offerings include Creme De Tranquillité, a blend featuring black tea and jasmine notes, intended to promote calmness. Creme De Energique offers a more invigorating scent profile with bergamot and cedar. Completing the collection is Creme De Amour, described as sensual, with notes of fig, sandalwood, and amber.

Despite the new scents, the formulation retains the core ingredients that have made the original popular, such as shea butter and jojoba butter, which contribute to its skin-nourishing properties. The brand emphasizes that these new fragrances are designed to provide a different sensory experience while maintaining the effectiveness of the classic product.

The Creme de Corps body butter has long been a favorite among celebrities. Oprah Winfrey has previously praised the original formula, calling it "fantastic" and an "ash killer" in a 2012 appearance on "Good Morning America." Actress Priyanka Chopra has also expressed her fondness for the product, referring to herself as a "Kiehl’s junkie" and describing the body butter as "amazing."

Reality television personalities have also been vocal about their appreciation for the lotion. Luann de Lesseps, a star from The Real Housewives of New York City, has cited it as part of her regular routine, calling it her "favorite hydrating, all-over body lotion" that leaves skin "smooth and luminous."

This launch represents a new venture for Kiehl's, a brand typically known for its straightforward approach to skincare. The introduction of scented variations follows the recent release of the brand's CollaShot Plumping Serum, which also garnered attention from public figures.
