Khloe Kardashian and her sister Kourtney have launched a new campaign for Kourtney's brand Lemme, promoting a line of creatine gummies. The campaign features Khloe, 42, channeling the iconic Jane Fonda with a nod to her famous 1980s workout videos.
In a series of photos and videos posted to Instagram, Khloe showcased her physique in athletic wear. Her retro look included an off-shoulder t-shirt tied at the waist over a crimson sleeveless bodysuit, a high ponytail, and gold bangles, evoking an 80s aesthetic. The gummies are marketed as aiding in 'body toning' and 'cognitive health.'
Kourtney, 47, adopted a 1990s-inspired style for the campaign, wearing highlighter green striped bike shorts with a printed boyfriend-fit t-shirt. This collaboration highlights the sisters' continued presence in the wellness and supplement industry.
Jane Fonda's 1982 videotape, "Jane Fonda's Workout," was a cultural phenomenon, becoming the bestselling VHS for six years and cementing her status as a leading figure in American fitness. Fonda ventured into the exercise industry to fundraise for political causes, later releasing numerous workout tapes and DVDs.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has had past encounters with Fonda. Fonda recalled meeting Kim Kardashian at a pre-Grammy party hosted by music executive Clive Davis, complimenting her on her physique. Davis died recently at the age of 94.
The sisters were promoting a new line of Lemme creatine gummies, which are billed as helping promote 'body toning' and 'cognitive health.' Khloe's homage to Fonda comes more than four decades after the release of "Jane Fonda's Workout."
