KFC Taps Coca-Cola as New US Beverage Partner, Ending PepsiCo Deal

KFC announced Thursday it has selected Coca-Cola as its new beverage partner for U.S. restaurants, concluding a long-standing agreement with PepsiCo. The transition is slated to bring Coca-Cola products to KFC locations across the United States by the spring of 2027.

The change in beverage providers marks a significant shift for the fast-food chain, which operates 3,718 locations in the U.S. According to reports, the loss of KFC's business represents a considerable setback for PepsiCo, which has been navigating challenges in improving its sales performance within the country.

The decision by KFC to partner with Coca-Cola was first reported by The Wall Street Journal on Thursday.
