Kevin Porter Jr. Marries Tee Janay in Unconventional Ceremony

Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. has married Tee Janay, according to a recent social media post by the NBA player. Porter, 26, shared a series of images on his Instagram page announcing the nuptials with the caption, “WE/DO Mrs. Porter.”

The couple both wore black for the ceremony, with Porter in a black suit and Janay in a black wedding dress, complemented by a bouquet of purple flowers. Additional photos captured the newlyweds watching fireworks during the reception and dancing with guests.

The Bucks organization extended congratulations to Porter via a post on X.

While the exact date of the wedding remains unconfirmed, a post from bridal designer Inna Elsie five days prior to Porter's announcement mentioned Tee Janay wearing one of the designer’s bridal robes. It is unclear if this was related to the wedding festivities.

Porter is preparing for his third season with the Bucks after exercising a $5.39 million player option on his contract. His previous season was shortened by injury in March, but he recorded averages of 17.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 7.4 assists over 38 games played in the 2025-26 season.

This upcoming season will be Porter’s first in Milwaukee without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was traded to the Heat in July. Porter's performance will be crucial for the Bucks as they navigate a significant roster change following Antetokounmpo's departure.

Porter has played in the NBA for six seasons, beginning his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers before playing for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and most recently, the Bucks. In September 2023, Porter was arrested and charged with assault and strangulation of his then-girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick. Gondrezick later denied the allegations, stating her injuries did not support the authorities' claims. Porter subsequently agreed to a plea deal, admitting to charges of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.
