Kevin Federline Faces New Lawsuit Over Unpaid Credit Card Bill
Bank of America sued Federline for over $12,000, a suit later dismissed.
Kevin Federline has been served with another lawsuit concerning an unpaid credit card bill, occurring after his ex-wife Britney Spears ceased child support payments. Bank of America filed a suit against Federline in February, seeking to recover $12,186.64. The bank also requested that the court determine any outstanding interest, attorneys' fees, and court costs associated with the collection.
Bank of America later filed to dismiss the suit with prejudice in June, indicating that the debt had been settled. Federline's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
This legal action follows revelations of mounting financial issues for Federline since November 2024, when Spears reportedly stopped her monthly child support payments for their two sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline. This Bank of America lawsuit is at least the second such legal action Federline has faced since the cessation of those payments. Earlier in the week, City National Bank filed its own lawsuit against Federline, alleging he owes $117,704.
