Kevin Costner and his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner were seen together at their son Hayes's beach volleyball game in Santa Barbara, more than two years after their contentious divorce proceedings concluded. The former couple, who were married for 18 years, appeared to keep their distance while supporting their 17-year-old son.
Costner, 71, dressed in an all-white ensemble, observed the game from a beach chair, occasionally engaging with other spectators and speaking with his son. Baumgartner, 52, also kept to herself, dressed casually and seen speaking with Hayes separately.
The reunion comes shortly after Costner was photographed with lifestyle coach Jennifer Milburn, 40, during a grocery store run. Sources described the pair as "extremely affectionate," and Milburn, who has connections to Costner's Aspen property and has worked in the local retail industry, did not deny their relationship when approached by the Daily Mail.
Costner and Baumgartner finalized their divorce in February 2024 after a prolonged battle over finances. As part of the settlement, Costner was ordered to pay $63,209 monthly in child support for their three children and a lump sum of $1.5 million to Baumgartner. Baumgartner has since remarried financier Josh Connor.
Milburn, currently working remotely as director of partnerships for Simon Sinek's The Optimism Company, has ties to Aspen, Colorado, where Costner owns a sprawling ranch. She previously worked at western retailer Kemo Sabe and has modeled for local brands.
Costner has had other reported relationships since his divorce, including a "private and casual" romance with filmmaker Kelly Noonan Gores last year. However, his recent public appearance with Milburn has renewed speculation about his romantic life.
