Kerry Katona, 45, recently discussed her upcoming move to Spain with her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione, 33, and shared personal reflections on her life. The singer and reality television personality appeared at Manchester Pride, where she was accompanied by her daughter Heidi, 19.
Katona confirmed earlier this year that she plans to relocate to Spain in September with Margaglione. She acknowledged that some of her children have expressed mixed feelings about the move, with Heidi being unhappy about it. However, Katona's older daughter Molly, 23, reportedly expressed support for her mother's decision.
Katona, who is also mother to Lilly-Sue, 22, Max, 17, and Dylan-Jorge, 12, from previous relationships, stated that if her older children wish to join her in Spain, they are welcome to. She also mentioned that her son DJ will be moving with her.
Personal Reflections
In a recent interview on Paul C Brunson's 'We Need To Talk' podcast, Katona, alongside Margaglione, opened up about past experiences with miscarriage. She revealed that she was unknowingly pregnant during the finale of the E4 series 'Celebs Go Dating' and discovered her pregnancy shortly thereafter. Katona described taking a pregnancy test in the early morning, which initially showed negative results, but later confirmed her pregnancy. She expressed the emotional toll of considering an abortion, stating, "The thought of having an abortion killed me. It felt like it was made from love." Tragically, she experienced a miscarriage, followed by another shortly after they attempted to conceive again.
Katona also recounted a previous miscarriage in 2022, which occurred around 2015. In her memoir, 'Kerry Katona: Whole Again,' she detailed a pregnancy resulting from a brief relationship following the death of her ex-husband, George Kay. She suffered a miscarriage and subsequently underwent an operation to remove the remaining foetus from her womb.
Katona and Margaglione began their relationship last year after meeting on 'Celebs Go Dating.' They made their relationship public in June 2025 and moved in together two months later. Margaglione has two daughters, Milani and Nola, from a previous relationship.
