A 4-year-old girl died in a tractor accident last week in Clark County, Kentucky, officials said.

Hellayna Michelle King was riding on an attachment to the back of a tractor when the vehicle stopped suddenly, causing her to fall. The tractor then backed over her.

Her aunt, LaDonna Lovings, told WKYT that the family had to wait 45 minutes for emergency services because a nearby road was closed. Lovings suggested that the delay may have impacted the outcome, stating that if the bridge had been open, the travel time for rescuers would have been significantly shorter.

Hellayna was described by her family as full of life and loved the farm, particularly the cows. She also enjoyed singing. She was scheduled to celebrate her 5th birthday on October 5.

Her mother, Rebecca Lovings, has started a GoFundMe to help with expenses and to raise funds for an urn. She wrote on the fundraising page that the family is heartbroken and struggling to cope with the loss while caring for their three other children.
