Music icon Kenny Loggins, 78, has revealed he is married for the third time to his girlfriend, Lisa Hawkins. The "Footloose" singer shared the news on Thursday during an appearance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
During a Q&A for his film "Kenny Loggins: Conviction of the Heart," Loggins referred to Hawkins as his wife. The couple eloped to Hawaii, and the documentary includes a photo from the trip, according to People.
Loggins and Hawkins have been together for approximately eight years. Hawkins is Loggins' third wife; he was previously married to Eva Ein from 1978 to 1990 and Julia Cooper from 1992 to 2004. Loggins has five adult children from his two previous marriages.
In 2023, Loggins retired from touring to spend more time with Hawkins and his grandchildren. He is also reportedly enjoying working with his stepdaughter Hunter, 25, on music.
Loggins gained recognition in the 1970s as part of the duo Loggins and Messina. His career has spanned decades, producing hit songs featured in films such as "Footloose" and "Top Gun." He has received multiple accolades, including two Grammy wins. In June, Loggins was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
He has spoken about his enduring passion for music and the creative process, noting his sharp memory when in the studio. Loggins, who hails from Washington State, has resided in the Santa Ynez Valley for many years.
