Kenneth Walker III Open to Tyreek Hill Reunion with Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III has voiced his support for a potential reunion with wide receiver Tyreek Hill, describing Hill as a "baller" who would fit well within head coach Andy Reid's offensive scheme.

Walker, who has emerged as a leading rusher in the NFL in his first four games with the Chiefs, acknowledged hearing about the possibility of Hill returning to Kansas City. "I think Coach Reid can make a playmaker of anybody he brings here," Walker told OutKick in a recent interview.

The Chiefs currently face challenges at the receiver position due to injuries to Rashee Rice and a gruesome ankle injury to Tyquan Thornton. This situation has fueled speculation about a potential return for Hill, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins before the 2022 season. Hill's agent has indicated that the Chiefs are among the teams he has been in contact with.

Hill, an eight-time Pro Bowler, is 32 years old and recovering from a significant knee injury. Despite this, he has been active in posting workout videos and social media content, contributing to the rumors about his future team. His history with the Chiefs, alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes and coach Reid, established one of the league's most potent offenses.

Walker, who joined the Chiefs this offseason and has quickly become a key player, emphasized Hill's impact. "Either way, it would be great to have him because I know what type of player he is," Walker stated.

Walker also discussed his own recovery and nutrition regimen, highlighting his use of Orgain plant-based protein powder. He noted the importance of proper nutrition for his performance throughout the season.

The Chiefs are currently on their early season bye week, allowing players time to recover before resuming their schedule.
