Kendra Wilkinson became emotional on her Instagram Stories after experiencing a setback in her real estate career when a client terminated her services. The former star of "The Girls Next Door" shared an image of herself crying, expressing the difficulty of the situation.
"When a client fires you… after all the work you put in. Ya, I’m struggling today guys," Wilkinson wrote, as quoted by Page Six. She further elaborated in a video, "I know that we’re living in a world of struggle right now, I know that. But it’s just … it’s so hard. It’s so hard right now."
Wilkinson, who is raising her two children, Hank, 16, and Alijah, 12, with ex-husband Hank Baskett, stated she feels she is doing everything right in her life and is a good person. She described facing challenges such as conflicts with colleagues, being fired, and dealing with rudeness, noting that these experiences are taking a toll.
Wilkinson transitioned into a full-time real estate career, obtaining her California license in June 2020 and focusing on Malibu's luxury market. In a March interview with realtor.com, she mentioned that her career had gained momentum after being tasked with representing properties ranging from $6 million to $20 million. This opportunity arose from a chance encounter with Vittal Apel, the son of developer Amit Apel. Wilkinson recounted meeting Vittal at a mall, and after a subsequent conversation, he contacted her three years later to list properties. She attributed this success to timing, networking, and being kind to people.
