Kendall Jenner Jokes About Having Sex With Cara Delevingne in New 'Kardashians' Trailer
Jenner also directly addresses and denies rumors that she and the model have dated.
Kendall Jenner addressed rumors of a past romance with close friend Cara Delevingne and joked about the possibility of them having been intimate in the newly released trailer for Season 8 of "The Kardashians." The trailer, which debuted Thursday, features Jenner responding to her father, Caitlyn Jenner, asking about her love life.
"There’s definitely a rumor that Cara and I dated — which is not true," Kendall states in the clip, before a subsequent scene shows her sitting next to Delevingne. In that moment, Kendall turns to the camera and says, "By the way I have nothing against having sex with Cara." She then adds to Delevingne, "Never say never, right?" to which Delevingne laughs.
The new season of "The Kardashians" is set to premiere on Oct. 8 on Hulu. The show's logline for the upcoming season states: "For the Kardashian-Jenners, a new chapter starts now. This season is all about love, reinvention, and what comes next. Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie balance empire-building with something far more personal, from unexpected sparks and new relationships, to healing old wounds and embracing independence." The logline further suggests the family will explore "love, whether it's self-love, family, or something new."
Jenner previously addressed speculation about her sexuality in January on the podcast "In Your Dreams." She stated, "I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people. And I’m not saying that’s an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I’d be out if I was."
Jenner and Delevingne have maintained a close friendship for over a decade, originating from their intertwined modeling careers. They refer to their bond as "CaKe."
In a 2016 interview with Vogue, Jenner said of their friendship, "We basically made it up and it’s our thing now." In a 2024 interview with the same publication, Jenner credited Delevingne with helping her transition into the modeling industry. "Cara Delevingne was probably the biggest one who was known outside of modeling. She opened that door for me, and from there it blew up into a whole new thing," Jenner recalled.
Delevingne publicly came out as a "proud" lesbian in an interview with Variety in May. She is currently in a relationship with British singer Minke. Her past relationships include musician St. Vincent and actress Ashley Benson.
Jenner is reportedly dating actor Jacob Elordi, 29. A source told Page Six last month that Jenner views Elordi as "husband material" and that their relationship "feels very grown-up and solid."
