Kelsey Parker Welcomes Baby Girl After Previous Loss

Kelsey Parker has welcomed a baby girl with her partner Will Lindsay, announcing the news on Instagram on Sunday. The newborn, named River, arrived four years after the death of Parker's husband, Tom Parker, from a brain tumor.

The birth marks a significant moment for Parker, who, with Lindsay, lost their son Phoenix, who was stillborn at 39 weeks in June 2025. Parker announced her pregnancy in May, referring to the new baby as a 'rainbow baby,' a term for a healthy child born after a family has experienced a pregnancy loss.

Parker, 35, is also mother to Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four, with the late Tom Parker, a member of the band The Wanted. She began dating Lindsay, a tree surgeon, in September 2024.

Parker has spoken openly about her grief and the process of finding new love. She stated that Tom's parents, Noreen and Nigel, have been supportive of her decisions. She also shared that Tom remains a present figure in their home, with the children speaking about him daily. Parker described meeting Lindsay as helping her combat loneliness, noting that while friends and family offer support, having a partner to confide in has been crucial. She has previously reflected on the lack of a definitive timeline for moving on from grief, stating, "I never thought at the age of 32 with two young children that I would have been widowed."

Earlier in the month, Parker responded to a social media troll who suggested she should stop thinking about her late husband. She countered that loving someone who has died is ongoing and not mutually exclusive with new relationships, emphasizing that grief is carried rather than moved on from. She noted that Lindsay understands this, as he also carries the memory of his father, who died when he was 21. Parker stated, "My past, my present and my future can all exist together. They're not mutually exclusive."
