The show's Season 39 premiere week also saw its strongest performance in two years among women aged 25-54, an audience segment it has led for eight consecutive seasons.

Season 39, which began on September 8, featured guests such as Lizzo, Kal Penn, Gal Gadot, and Sherri Shepherd. The season also marked Consuelos' fourth year as co-host, an occasion celebrated during the premiere week with a segment titled "Kelly and Mark 4-Ever."
