Kelly Osbourne is in a more positive phase following her separation from Sid Wilson, according to her brother Jack. He shared in a recent interview that the television personality, 41, is now concentrating on her three-year-old son and embracing a country lifestyle.
Wilson, 49, and Osbourne announced their split in March. Wilson has since departed from his band Slipknot under undisclosed circumstances. Jack Osbourne, 40, told The Sun that Kelly is "living her country life" and "being a mum," and has established a "good routine." He added that she is "in a happier place."
Earlier in August, Osbourne posted a pointed message on Instagram that appeared to reference Wilson's departure from Slipknot. She wrote, "I can't protect you from yourself anymore. Wake the fk up and take some responsibility. I will not take your st anymore. I'm done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal."
In subsequent Instagram Stories, Osbourne also alluded to unresolved issues, stating, "Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence... It's distraction. When the mask slips, they don't face the mirror they throw it at someone else." She also wrote, "Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions Oh yeah and maybe some child support?"
Jack Osbourne also reflected on the passing of their father, the iconic rock musician Ozzy Osbourne, who died on July 22 at the age of 76. He described the initial period after his father's death as overwhelming but expressed gratitude for having spent the week prior to his passing with him. This time together occurred because a planned family trip to Portugal was canceled due to illness, leading the family to remain at home with Ozzy.
