Kelly Osbourne is taking time for herself on a holiday, stating she "feels reborn" after her ex-fiancé, Sid Wilson, was reportedly fired from the band Slipknot. Osbourne, 41, and Wilson, 49, who is a keyboardist for Slipknot, ended their engagement in March.

Osbourne, who is spending time with their three-year-old son, Sidney, shared photos from her getaway, reflecting on the need for personal breaks. "I’m really learning how important it is to step away from the madness sometimes," Osbourne wrote on Instagram. "I get so wrapped up in life, work, people, plans… everything going on around me, that I genuinely forget I’m allowed to stop. To switch off. To breathe. To just be."

She added that the holiday has been a reminder that taking a break is not wasted time. "This holiday has reminded me that taking a break isn’t wasting time — sometimes it’s exactly what you need to come back to yourself. I honestly feel reborn. Lighter, calmer, happier… and very much NOT ready to go home. Note to self: do this more often. Life will still be there when you get back."

Her vacation follows a week after Osbourne appeared to address Wilson's departure from Slipknot, posting a message on social media that read, "I can't protect you from yourself anymore. Wake the fk up and take some responsibility. I will not take your st anymore. I'm done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal."

Osbourne also shared further reflections, stating, "Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence... It's distraction. When the mask slips, they don't face the mirror they throw it at someone else. I heard that when you break a mirror you get seven years bad luck. Or is that karma? This is why I always take accountability. As they say some are sicker than others'."

In another social media post, Osbourne also inquired about retrieving personal possessions and mentioned child support. "Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions Oh yeah and maybe some child support?"

Wilson joined Slipknot in 1998, becoming the ninth member to join the then-expanding lineup. He was reportedly informed of his permanent removal from the band earlier this month. The band's lineup has seen several changes over the years, including the deaths of bassist Paul Gray in 2010 and drummer Joey Jordison in 2021, as well as the dismissals of percussionist Chris Fehn in 2019 and keyboardist Craig Jones in 2023.

Osbourne and Wilson announced their separation in March, ending their engagement which occurred seven months after Wilson proposed to Osbourne at her late father Ozzy Osbourne's final concert with Black Sabbath in Birmingham. Sources close to Osbourne indicated she had been navigating a difficult period, dealing with the separation and focusing on motherhood.

Insiders stated that Osbourne and Wilson had been facing relationship challenges for some time and had attempted to make their relationship work for their child's sake before deciding to separate. The source added that Osbourne has been remaining sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother.
