After seven seasons and over 1,200 episodes, The Kelly Clarkson Show aired its farewell episode on August 31. The series, which debuted in 2019, concluded its run with a special "Kelly By Request" episode, featuring music selected by fans.
In a statement released in February, Clarkson announced the show's conclusion, citing a need to prioritize her children. "This isn’t goodbye," she stated at the time. "I’ll still be making music, playing shows here and there and you may catch me on The Voice from time to time."
Clarkson expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with the show's crew and band, as well as the guests and fans who contributed to its success. "I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner," she said.
The series finale was broadcast in syndication. For viewers in New York, the episode aired on WNBC at 3 p.m. ET. The final episode became available for streaming on Peacock on September 4. Peacock offers subscription plans including Premium with ads for $12.99 per month and Premium Plus ad-free for $19.99 per month, with discounted annual options also available.
