Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Boutique Dispute
Singer claims a Brooklyn store refused to sell her a decorative mechanical bird, sparking online debate.

A dispute has emerged between singer Kelly Clarkson and a Brooklyn boutique after the Grammy winner claimed the store would not allow her to purchase a mechanical bird on display. The incident occurred at the Art of Play store in Brooklyn.
Clarkson, known for hits like "Since U Been Gone," stated on social media that she was "looked at as if I couldn't afford" the singing and dancing mechanical bird, which she said had a $15,000 price tag. She reportedly visited the store on Saturday.
Art of Play has responded to Clarkson's claims, asserting that the wooden bird is permanently attached to the wall and is not for sale. According to the store, an employee suggested to Clarkson that she could purchase an identical bird for $15,000 during her brief visit.
