Keke Palmer is set to host the upcoming "The Voice: Celebrity" season, premiering in 2027, with a reported salary of nearly $2 million. This figure is substantially lower than that of long-time host Carson Daly, who reportedly earns around $6 million per season.
Palmer's compensation is solely for her hosting duties and does not include producer credits, according to a report from The Sun. The actress, who confirmed her role on Instagram, will join coaches Queen Latifah, Riley Green, and Joe Jonas for the special iteration of the NBC competition series. "The Voice: Celebrity" will feature contestants from various entertainment fields, including actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians, and reality television stars.
Carson Daly, who has hosted "The Voice" since its inception in 2011, will not be hosting the celebrity season due to commitments with the "Today" show and a desire to spend more time with his family. However, he will remain involved as a producer, assisting with the launch from behind the scenes. Daly addressed the hosting change on Instagram, clarifying that he is not leaving the show entirely and that NBC will be experimenting with two formats in the upcoming fall and spring seasons.
Season 30 of "The Voice," which is currently in production and scheduled for a September premiere, will feature Daly as host alongside coaches. Daly's salary for the original series has reportedly increased over his 15 years with the show, reflecting his dual role as host and producer. He also serves as co-anchor on the "Today" show, a role he has held since 2013. Daly has four children with his wife, Siri Pinter.
