Keke Palmer recently expressed her admiration for Sean Evans, host of the popular web series "Hot Ones," while a new report suggests Evans is active on the celebrity dating app Raya.
During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Palmer, 32, was asked by host Jimmy Fallon about the "chemistry" between her and the 40-year-old Evans. Palmer responded by stating, "I love Sean. He’s a great guy."
Fallon noted the public's belief that the two "should date," to which Palmer responded that their connection was evident from their first "Hot Ones" interview in 2017. "You do interviews and, as a performer, you’re being present, but you don’t always get that energy back," Palmer said, referring to Evans. "But I think he felt the same."
She further elaborated on their rapport, describing it as a seamless "bing boom." Palmer also appeared on the "Today" show, where she reiterated the authenticity of their connection. "Our chemistry is genuine," the former Disney Channel star stated. "I couldn’t force that if I tried. We always felt that chemistry."
Palmer indicated that their relationship began professionally. "It’s life," she explained. "Essentially, we met at work. We had chemistry. Work husband, work wife. You just have that chemistry with people. Then, we hang out."
The actress also commented on the public's eagerness to pair them together, saying, "I was gagged that everybody was ready to marry me off. Guys, let it cook! They married your girl off in two seconds!"
Palmer had previously confirmed in June that she and Evans were "hanging out," following sightings of them on a dinner date in Brooklyn. However, a report surfaced over the weekend from The Sun claiming that Evans is active on Raya, a dating app for celebrities. According to the outlet, his profile indicated he was "visiting Los Angeles."
Reps for both Palmer and Evans have not yet responded to requests for comment.
Evans has previously been linked to Natasha Alexis Martinez and Melissa Stratton. Palmer shares a son, Leodis, with her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson.
