Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has become a grandfather for the eighth time. His daughter, Theodora Richards, 41, welcomed a son named Tarka Nathaniel Richards Burnett on April 9, 2026, five months prior to the public announcement.
Theodora, an American model, shared the news on social media, stating that Tarka has been "rocking our lives" and that she and her partner, Oscar Burnett, are happy their family continues to grow.
Tarka joins his older brother, Augustus, who was born in May 2024. Theodora shared images of her newborn son alongside his brother.
This is the latest addition to Richards' expanding family. In May 2026, the 82-year-old rocker became a great-grandfather for the first time when his granddaughter Ella, 30, welcomed a daughter named Luna.
Ella is the daughter of Marlon Richards, 56, Richards' eldest son with the late model Anita Pallenberg. Ella's mother is former model and stylist Lucie de la Falaise.
Richards, who is a father of five, had expressed anticipation for the birth of his first great-grandchild earlier in the spring.
Friends of the family offered congratulations. Leah Wood, daughter of guitarist Ronnie Wood, commented on the growing legacy, while model Poppy Delevingne expressed her joy for Theodora and her sons.
