Former Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer was recently seen enjoying a pint at the Spaniards Inn, a historic pub in Hampstead known for attracting numerous celebrities. Starmer, who stepped down as leader last June, was observed outside the Grade-II listed establishment, which dates back to 1585.
The pub, which offers a wide selection of beers and ciders, has reportedly been visited by notable figures such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, and Liam Gallagher. Starmer, the Labour MP for Holborn and St Pancras, was seen in a casual attire of a green shirt, black trousers, and trainers, a departure from his usual formal wear.
He was seen conversing with friends before they apparently headed towards the pub's garden area. This is not the first time Starmer has been photographed with a drink in hand since leaving his leadership position. Earlier this year, he was seen at a Kentish Town pub with Rachel Reeves shortly after his resignation.
