Keegan Allen Pistol-Whipped in West Hollywood Robbery
'Pretty Little Liars' actor shared a graphic video of his bloody face after the incident.
Keegan Allen, known for his role in "Pretty Little Liars," was the victim of an armed robbery in West Hollywood, during which he was pistol-whipped and had his watch and bracelet stolen. The incident occurred Thursday night when two masked men confronted Allen in the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, one suspect brandished a handgun while the other wielded a knife, demanding Allen's valuables. During the confrontation, Allen was struck in the face with the handgun, sustaining a laceration to his forehead. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle with the stolen items.
Allen later shared a video on Instagram showing his injuries, with blood visible on his face and neck. He described the experience as terrifying, stating that the assailants threatened to kill him over his watch. "West Hollywood is not safe anymore," Allen wrote on social media, questioning the effectiveness of surveillance cameras in preventing such crimes and directly addressing California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. He noted that his life was spared for a watch.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department evaluated Allen at the scene, but he did not require hospitalization. The investigation into the robbery is ongoing. Allen, who portrayed Toby Cavanaugh on "Pretty Little Liars" from 2010 to 2017, has also appeared in "Walker" and "The Rookie."
