Kaye Adams has stated she regrets not leaving her BBC Radio Scotland show before she was removed from her position due to allegations of misconduct. Adams, who hosted the show for 15 years, described herself as "very unhappy" and "scared" to leave the role prior to the allegations surfacing.

She made these remarks while appearing on Vanessa Feltz's new YouTube show, "At Home With Vanessa." Adams admitted that she allowed herself to "drift into 60" without making necessary career decisions, expressing that she "should have left but I was scared and I kicked myself for that."

Adams was removed from her BBC Radio Scotland show in October following complaints that included accusations of swearing at a colleague, throwing a pen, and berating an intern. In February, it was reported that the BBC had upheld some allegations while dismissing others, and Adams would not be returning.

In a statement posted on Instagram at the time, Adams denied the allegations. She stated, "I categorically deny using a misogynistic slur 14 years ago, and I’m horrified at its invention more than a decade later. It is absolutely not a word I would have used." She also addressed the claim of "berating an intern," calling it "simply untrue," and regarding the pencil allegation, she said, "words fail me." Adams expressed heartbreak that "15 years of hard work and dedication to BBC Scotland is being reduced to this."

Meanwhile, Vanessa Feltz has launched her own YouTube show after her Channel 5 daytime program was cancelled. Feltz's show was axed after only one year on air, a decision she stated blindsided her. Determined not to "hide under a rock," Feltz announced her new social media show, which is filmed at her home with friends. "At Home with Vanessa" is described as featuring "bottomless bagels and cocktails on tap" and began airing in mid-August.
