During the first live show of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night, professional dancer Katya Jones was observed mouthing a comment that viewers interpreted as "fit" as the camera panned to her following Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb's performance. Robb, 34, danced the Paso Doble to Harry Styles's "Aperture" with his partner Jowita Przystał.
Eagle-eyed viewers took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to discuss Jones's reaction. Robb, who portrays Mackenzie Boyd on the ITV soap opera, received a total of 20 points from the judges: a four from Craig Revel Horwood, fives from Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas, and a six from Anton Du Beke. Robb is in a relationship with West End performer Pamela Blair, with whom he made his relationship public in 2024 at the BAFTA Scotland Awards.
The inaugural live show of the season featured a variety of performances, with YouTuber John Nellis topping the leaderboard with a score of 31 for his Foxtrot to "Ordinary" by Alex Warren. Paired with Katya Jones, Nellis has become a favorite to win the competition, according to bookmakers.
