Katy Perry Celebrates 42nd Birthday with Justin Trudeau in Adventurous Getaway
The singer shared highlights of their trip, including climbing and kayaking, on Instagram.
Katy Perry marked her 42nd birthday with an adventurous trip alongside Justin Trudeau, sharing glimpses of their activities on Instagram.
Perry posted a photo collection on Thursday that included the couple in climbing gear, sharing a kiss atop a mountain. The celebrations also featured abseiling, kayaking, and a chocolate birthday cake. "Climbed to level 42 this week!" Perry captioned the post. "Though I still don’t understand, I’m ok with turning 42 as long as I can turn 42 with you ♥️ back to living…"
The singer and the former Canadian Prime Minister were first linked romantically in July 2025, and they made their relationship Instagram official in December of that year.
Perry and Trudeau recently attended the Narrative Art Museum opening gala in Los Angeles, where they posed together on the red carpet. Perry wore a white crushed velvet dress, while Trudeau complemented her in a black suit.
The couple previously vacationed in Europe during the summer and made their red carpet debut in June at the 25th Annual Tribeca Festival for the premiere of "Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris." At the time, Perry described herself as "very in love" and feeling more grounded in her life.
Perry previously announced her split from Orlando Bloom last year. They share a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, born in 2020. Trudeau announced his separation from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They have three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien.
