Pop star Katy Perry and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been seen together on vacation in Saint-Tropez, with photos showing the couple engaging in public displays of affection. Perry, 41, and Trudeau, 54, were photographed on a boat and on the beach with family and friends.

The pair, who began their relationship last summer, were seen cuddling under an umbrella. Perry wore a brown bikini and a sarong, while Trudeau appeared shirtless in swim trunks.

Trudeau, who separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023, has been publicly linked with Perry since December 2025, when she made their relationship Instagram official. They made their red carpet debut in June 2026 at the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of her concert film.

Perry commented on her relationship in June, telling People that she felt like a more grounded person and was "very in love."

Separately, Perry recently expressed anger over the White House using her song "Firework" in a TikTok video montage of missile attacks. She stated on X that she did not approve the use of her music for such a purpose and that it was a violation of the song's message of hope and healing. Perry sold the catalog rights to her music published through 2020 in a deal reportedly worth $225 million in 2023. She joins other artists who have spoken out against the government's use of their music for political promotion.
