Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Make Public Appearance at Los Angeles Museum Gala
The pop star and Canadian Prime Minister attended the opening of the Narrative Art Museum, showcasing their relationship.
Pop star Katy Perry and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared together at the opening gala of the Narrative Art Museum in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The couple, who have been dating for over a year, posed for photos on the red carpet, signaling a public display of their relationship.
Perry, 41, wore a white crushed velvet dress, while Trudeau, 54, complemented her in a black suit. The pair were seen holding hands, exchanging glances, and smiling throughout the event. This appearance follows a summer getaway in Europe for the couple.
Perry and Trudeau first made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival in June, coinciding with the premiere of the concert film "Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris." Perry described herself as being "very in love" and feeling more grounded during an interview at the time.
Their relationship was first publicly linked in July 2025, and they became Instagram official in December. Perry had previously announced her split from Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, born in 2020. Trudeau separated from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023 after 18 years of marriage; they have three children together.
The Narrative Art Museum, founded by George Lucas, is set to open to the public on September 22. It houses a collection of 40,000 artworks, including cinematic artifacts and illustrations, spread across galleries, a library, and theaters.
