Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are seen hopping for good luck in a recent TikTok video. The clip, shared by Perry, features the couple and members of her crew participating in a trend set to the song "Watch It Burn." Perry captioned the video, "Ancient texts say that if you hop to this song you will get 1,000 years of good luck."

In the video, Trudeau, dressed in a green t-shirt and khaki pants, smiles as he hops alongside Perry. The lighthearted interaction has garnered attention from fans, with one commenter noting, "Justin Trudeau finally living his teenage dream." Another wrote, "I love seeing Trudaddy jumping around, looking all lovestruck at Katy."

The couple made their red carpet debut in June at the premiere of Perry's film, "Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris," at the OKX Theater at BMCC TPAC in New York City. The event marked a public acknowledgment of their relationship, which first sparked rumors in July 2025 when they were seen dining together in Montreal.

Perry has spoken about her grounded state in her relationship, telling People at the film premiere, "I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life. I am very in love. And actually, that show was after I met the love of my life and so I felt very anchored by that because I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite."

Their relationship became more public when Perry shared photos of their time together in Tokyo on Instagram in December 2025. This followed Trudeau's separation from his ex-wife Sophie in 2023 and Perry's called-off engagement to Orlando Bloom in July 2025. Perry and Bloom continue to co-parent their daughter.
