Katie Price has announced her separation from husband Lee Andrews, stating that she has reached her limit and will now focus on her children and career. The former glamour model, 48, ended her eight-month marriage in early September after discovering Andrews had a mere £2.22 in his account, contradicting his claims of being a millionaire.
Speaking on her podcast, "The Katie Price Show," with her sister Sophie, Price reflected on the union. She married Andrews, who is currently incarcerated, shortly after meeting him. "It's just enough's enough now," she told her sister. "It gets to a certain point where you can tolerate so much and it's like enough."
Price confirmed that Andrews is in prison and that she has not spoken to him. "I am like I keep saying to mum, I'm focusing on my children," she stated. She also mentioned that while she is still wearing her wedding ring, she has removed Andrews from her social media biography.
During an appearance on "Good Morning Britain," Price described Andrews as having "scammed her heart" and branded their marriage "embarrassing." She explained, "I feel like he scammed my heart and stole my trust that I had and me defending a man constantly because he made me believe that, 'Kate, come on, you know I'm not like this.'"
Andrews had reportedly claimed to possess $50 million in a cryptocurrency account, but Price discovered his actual balance to be approximately $3 (£2.22). "He hasn't scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me because he fabricated a person that doesn't exist," Price said.
Andrews, from prison in Dubai, sent a voice note stating that the divorce is "for the best." He claimed he had "funds" and that Price had "exposing the wrong amount in a wrong wallet," adding that finances should be "between husband and wife." He concluded the message by saying, "I love Kate and always will."
Price shared that she has consulted a divorce lawyer. Reflecting on Andrews' voice note, she expressed exhaustion, stating, "I'm sitting here listening and I'm just shaking my head because where do I start?"
She also revealed that a ring Andrews allegedly said was worth £72,000 was valued at only £5,000 when she attempted to insure it. Price has children Princess and Junior with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett and Bunny with ex-husband Kieran Hayler. Her eldest son, Harvey, has no contact with his father, Dwight Yorke.
