Lee Andrews, husband of British personality Katie Price, continues to be held in Dubai's Al Awir prison, contrary to earlier reports of his release in July. Sources suggest that Andrews, 43, has been telling fellow inmates that his exit paperwork is finalized each week, but he has yet to be released.

His incarceration follows fraud claims, marking his second period in Dubai's prison system. Inmates have reportedly grown frustrated with his alleged constant falsehoods regarding his impending release. Andrews was taken to Lahab police station on July 10 and was reportedly working to raise a £120,000 fine.

Earlier, Andrews' father, Peter, was also reported to be in the same prison on suspicion of fraud but has since allegedly been released. It is understood that Lee and his father may have seen each other while incarcerated. Lee Andrews maintains his innocence and is reportedly seeking funds to cover outstanding debts and return to the UK.

Price, 48, has been observed wearing her wedding ring in recent social media posts, including a bikini selfie shared on Monday. She also showcased a tattoo on her arm that reads 'Owned By Lee'. In a previous statement on her podcast, Price indicated a desire to hold her husband accountable for "hurting other people," stating her intent to have the podcast producer conduct a deep interview with him. Friends have reportedly urged Price to end the relationship due to the ongoing drama.

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews continues to remain in jail, despite reports he was released last month.
