Katie Price Opens Up About Juggling Care for Son Harvey and Terminally Ill Mother

Katie Price is finding it challenging to manage the care of her son Harvey, who is living with her temporarily, alongside looking after her terminally ill mother, Amy.

Harvey, 24, has been living with Price for 11 weeks while awaiting his new accessible flat, which has been delayed for over a year. The delay led Price to bring him home after he expressed distress at a previous residential placement.

Harvey battles several health conditions, including autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder. Price noted that he requires consistent attention and wakes her during the night. She has engaged a care agency to provide additional support, aiming to ensure he receives the same level of care at home as he would in a residential setting.

Price is also providing care for her mother, Amy, 73, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable lung condition, in 2017 and received a lung transplant in 2022. "It's hard, it's a juggle," Price stated on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, explaining the difficulty in balancing these responsibilities with her work commitments.

In addition to these caregiving demands, Price has recently spoken about her ongoing struggle with sciatica. This condition is a result of a severe foot injury sustained six years ago when she fell from a 25-foot wall in Turkey. The fall resulted in multiple surgeries and a six-month period where she was unable to walk.

She described how the sciatica affects her, causing pain that travels down her leg, and has incorporated CBD oil into her daily routine to help manage the discomfort. "I’ve been dealing with sciatica myself, so when I received a message from someone saying they also struggle with it and have found SupremeCBD oils helpful as part of their routine, I could genuinely relate," she shared on social media.
