Katie Price revealed the full extent of a black eye sustained from forehead filler treatments, which she underwent just one day before attending the National Television Awards.
The 48-year-old former glamour model displayed a heavily made-up appearance on the red carpet for the awards ceremony. In a video shared by makeup artist Mitchell Halliday, Price explained the situation.
"He's [Mitchell] got his work cut out because yesterday I decided to have filler put in my temples," Price said, speaking with a bare face that showed the bruising. "I had no idea of the swelling, and today it is the NTAs red carpet. He's got to work extra hard to transform this."
Halliday then demonstrated a step-by-step tutorial on how he concealed the bruising using his beauty products. The makeup look was inspired by large sunglasses, incorporating bold black eyeliner and highlight.
This appearance at the NTAs marked Price's first public outing since reports surfaced of her ending her marriage to Lee Andrews via text and consulting a divorce lawyer. Her outfit for the event included a long-sleeved white shirt paired with lace hot pants and black tights, along with black heels. Her hair was styled in a wet look, and she accessorized with large diamond earrings.
Price was accompanied by her 19-year-old daughter, Princess, who wore a contrasting shimmering blue ballgown.
Earlier on the day of the awards, Price had also shown off new breast implants and her black eye. She had flown back from Brussels, where she underwent the cosmetic procedures. Price, who has reportedly had around 17 breast augmentation surgeries, had recently increased her cup size during the summer.
Describing the facial procedure, Price explained she had filler injected into her temples to address hollowness associated with aging and weight loss. "He does it under the muscle right into the bone. I’ve woken up this morning, I didn’t have anything put here, nothing, but I think the swelling has dropped so I look like a hamster and it’s sore," she stated.
Price has undergone numerous cosmetic procedures over the years, including multiple facelifts and breast augmentations. She estimated in a previous television appearance that she had around 30 to 40 surgeries in total, with a portion of them being complimentary due to her fame, while also stating she had paid approximately £40,000 for procedures.
