Katie Price Coached Alleged Victim, Court Hears

Katie Price allegedly coached a teenager who accused her ex-husband Kieran Hayler of rape, a court has been told. Hayler testified that messages from Price to the complainant, a young woman, suggested Price was attempting to manipulate her into making false claims.

During the trial, Hayler stated that Price messaged the teenager, claiming she had heard that Hayler and the girl had kissed and that he had "tried it on" with her. Price later added, "I will make you a little star." When questioned about this phrase in court, Price described it as "a figure of speech."

Hayler told the court that he believed Price's comment was "very pushy" and "very strange," adding, "I thought she was coaching her into [saying] something she shouldn't." He shared that he took photos of the messages exchanged between Price and the complainant, stating, "Everyone can interpret it how they want, it's very pushy."

He explained that he accessed Price's phone using her fingerprint, similar to how she had accessed his. He described this as evidence of the relationship breaking down. Hayler further testified that he found the pictures of the messages recently after retrieving his phones from storage during a home move, and subsequently sent them to his solicitor.

Hayler also stated that Price was unfaithful during their relationship, contributing to its breakdown. He presented the messages as evidence after Price had reportedly made out that he fancied the complainant.
